Is CivLogic free to use?

Yes. Account creation and day-to-day use are free for Bill of Quantities import, PDM and Gantt Chart preparation, Contract Time Extension, Variation Order, Statement of Work Accomplished, accomplishment monitoring, Manpower Deployment and Equipment Utilization, Geotag, and Analytics. Payment is required only for paid submission package downloads.

How do I get started?

Create an account, set up the Project record, and import the Bill of Quantities. Sign in if you already have an account.

What requires payment?

Payment applies to submission package downloads through HitPay. Current public list prices for the Contract Preparation package, Variation Order package, and Contract Time Extension package are shown on the Pricing page and confirmed at checkout. Package contents (Gantt Chart with S-curve and Cash Flow, PDM, *PCMA Barchart, and Manpower and Equipment Schedule where applicable) follow the in-app package rules at download time.

Why is the Variation Order package higher than Contract Time Extension?

The Variation Order package has a higher price because it covers more revision checks before export. CivLogic runs revision checks on the revised Bill of Quantities, Pay Item quantity changes, reported accomplishment, and updated schedule outputs for the Variation Order path. The Contract Time Extension package mainly adjusts Contract Time. The Variation Order package handles scope or quantity changes, so it requires more checks before download.

When can I download submission packages or *PCMA Barchart?

Downloads become available after the in-app requirements for the selected package are met, including payment when required. Package types and amounts are listed on the Pricing page, and checkout is processed in the app.

Is there a monthly fee?

No. There is no monthly fee for using the app. Payment is per paid submission package unlock.

Can I get a refund after I pay for a package?

Paid items are digital package unlocks. Change-of-mind refunds are not guaranteed after a successful unlock or download. Email support@civlogic.app within fourteen (14) calendar days of payment, with the HitPay or transaction reference, to request a review. We will consider duplicate charges, a captured payment with no unlock after eligibility was met, an amount different from checkout because of our error, and proven unauthorized payments. Payment without meeting download eligibility is generally not refunded. The full rules are in the Terms & Conditions.

Implementation Schedule and Contract Time3
How are Gantt Chart and PDM schedules checked?

Prepare the schedule from Pay Items. Select Activity rows and calendar periods in the Gantt Chart to create schedule bars, arrange the PDM nodes, and resolve Violation Log items before saving the Implementation Schedule.

How does Contract Time Extension adjust the schedule?

Select the suspended days for the Contract Time Extension. CivLogic remaps the Gantt Chart and PDM.

What checks run before a Variation Order is applied?

Revised Pay Item quantities are checked against reported accomplishment before the Variation Order is applied, so quantity conflicts are identified before submission.

Accomplishment and Statement of Work Accomplished1
What is Statement of Work Accomplished used for?

The Statement of Work Accomplished records Pay Item quantities by reporting period. It supports actual accomplishment and Slippage comparison against scheduled progress. When a Variation Order is On Process, CivLogic checks reported quantities against the pending revised quantities while the active cap remains the Latest Approved quantity.

Submission Downloads1
When can I download submission packages or *PCMA Barchart?

Downloads become available after the in-app requirements for the selected package are met, including payment when required. Package types and amounts are listed on the Pricing page, and checkout is processed in the app.

Contractor Use and Projects2
Who is CivLogic for?

CivLogic is for Contractor personnel who prepare and maintain Contract schedules and records, including Bill of Quantities, PDM and Gantt Chart schedules, Contract Time Extensions, Variation Orders, Statement of Work Accomplished, and submission package files.

Do I need an Implementing Office account?

No. CivLogic supports Contractor-side schedule and record preparation. Exported files are prepared for Implementing Office review.

Bill of Quantities and Schedule4
What file types can I import for the Bill of Quantities?

Download the BOQ Template from the app, fill it with your contract data, then import that Excel (.xlsx) file for Pay Items during project setup. Use the in-app template so the file is processed without column-mapping errors. Pay Item No. and Part No. pairs are checked against the user-contributed Pay Item Reference List before proceeding.

What is a Pay Item compared with an Activity?

A Pay Item is an entry of work in the Bill of Quantities used for payment and accomplishment reporting. An Activity is the schedule unit with duration and predecessor logic in the PDM and Gantt Chart.

What happens if my schedule has logic errors?

The Violation Log lists schedule logic issues, including floating starts, floating finishes, and dependency conflicts. Resolve blocking items before saving or submission where required by the app.

When should I record Notice to Proceed in CivLogic?

Record the Notice to Proceed after the schedule is ready for Contract Start Date. This records the Original Contract Schedule Baseline used for later package eligibility and schedule comparison.

Contract Time Extension, Suspension, and Variation Order3
What is the difference between Contract Time Extension, Work Suspension Order, and Work Resumption Order?

Contract Time Extension grants additional Contract Time. Work Suspension Order records the suspension period, and Work Resumption Order records the resumption of work. CivLogic aligns those dates with the Gantt Chart and PDM where they apply.

Can I create a Variation Order if no SWA is reported yet?

Yes. Statement of Work Accomplished is not required to start a Variation Order. If accomplishment has already been reported, revised Variation Order quantities cannot be lower than cumulative reported quantities.

Does an On Process Variation Order change the SWA quantity basis?

No. Statement of Work Accomplished still uses Latest Approved quantities as the hard cap. An On Process Variation Order may show a warning when the reported quantity exceeds the pending revised quantity.

Manpower, Equipment, Geotag, and Analytics3
How do Manpower and Equipment suggestions work?

Suggestions apply to Manpower and Equipment only. Use Pay Item-based suggestions to support assignments, then monitor pledges and mobilization limits in the Resource Pool and schedule views.

What are the Analytics pages for?

Analytics pages show Project, Contractor, and Implementing Office metrics and charts based on Contract data already maintained in CivLogic.

What are the Geotags for?

Geotag records capture location-tagged project entries within the project workspace.

Payments and Submission Downloads4
Which package applies after Notice to Proceed?

The Contract Preparation package usually applies when you need the Gantt Chart with S-curve and Cash Flow, Manpower and Equipment Schedule, PDM, and *PCMA Barchart after Notice to Proceed.

Which package applies after Contract Time Extension or Variation Order?

Use the Contract Time Extension package or Variation Order package, depending on the request path. Both cover Gantt Chart with S-curve and Cash Flow, PDM, and *PCMA Barchart for that path.

Do I pay again for every download?

No. After you pay for a package and the unlock is granted, you do not pay again to download that same package. A different package, such as a later Variation Order package or Contract Time Extension package, is a separate unlock and requires its own payment.

What payment method is used?

HitPay checkout in PHP is used inside the app when a paid package download is required.

Trust and Support2
Is project data used for public marketing claims?

The marketing site uses product visuals and workflow explanations only. It does not use client logos, project names, or testimonials without permission.
